Filipino Prisoner of War (POW) Claim Files

Scope and Content

This series consists of claims files relating to Filipino prisoners of war. The records were in the custody of the Claims Service, and later the Recovered Personnel Detachment until September 1948, when they were transferred to the Adjutant General Records Depository and later transferred to the Demobilized Personnel Records Branch. They were then transferred to the Philippine Army Branch.
